Importing feedback with Zapier

This guide demonstrates how to create a Zap that sends data to UserVoice.

To start creating a Zap, sign-in and click “Make a Zap!”.

1. Choosing a trigger

Choose a trigger that will provide data to send to UserVoice.

2. Choosing your action

The UserVoice Zapier app includes actions for creating both feedback records and NPS ratings. Select the desired action and continue.

3. Connecting your UserVoice account

You’ll need to connect the UserVoice account you wish to send data to. If you do not already have an API token, create one by following this guide.

In Zapier, click “Connect an Account”, enter your UserVoice API token, and continue to the next step.

4. Editing the template

Here, you will map the data given by the trigger to the corresponding fields in UserVoice.

5. Testing the integration

The final step is to test that the integration is configured properly. If Zapier displays “Test was successful!” then everything is working as intended. The API response containing the created record’s data will be shown.

Note: Testing the integration will send data to your UserVoice account. You may want to delete the created test record.
